Parties can happen at any moment when good friends and good company are around.
Paying attention to the details like decor and theme can only make it better.
Parties with Style require a bit of planning, some imagination and a really sweet husband to help out with the details.
For Dana's Bachelorette Party, I decided to go with a French Theme since she is a Francophile and the French give us so many of life's good things.
1) Wine Tasting Tour
We could not spring for a weekend in Bordeaux. But Long Island has great Vineyards and is accessible by the Long Island Railroad. We hired a limo (VZ limo service) to drive us around for the day and brought French CDs to set the mood.
2) Dress UP
Everyone was asked to wear French themed clothes like neck scarves and stripes.

Bachelorette Parties are a great time to shower a bride to be with new Lingerie. Pasties are so OOh La La. As a burlesque costume staple, they are quite a surprise in the bedroom. Paired with a "Le Petite Secret" bra from Maison Close and Mange Moi undies... thrilling.

- Champagne with Chambord served with macaroons
- Skyping a friend in from Paris at your party
- French style breakfast the morning after with Coffee, baguette, jam and nutella
